Hey everyone, these are my first two chickens and I have no idea what breed or gender they are (because they hatched at my school), could someone help me identify them??? (I know they are a laying breed, just not sure which)
Do I have pullets or cockerels??? What breed? They were in a mixed batch with black chicks with grey legs (a friend of mine got two last year and the black one became a rooster and the yellow one became a hen).

ADDITIONAL INFO: I got them at 9 days old and the yellow one (Marie Omelette) had pretty good feather development and a growing tail, but the orange one (Rebecca) had almost no tail feather development. I chose chicks who had small combs to begin with.
At the start, Marie was bigger, but Rebecca grew much faster and now (at 4 weeks) has a bigger tail and is slightly bigger than Marie. Their feathering is basically the same everywhere else. At 27 days, combs are still small and pale pink.
Rebecca is VERY bold. She/he chirps ALL the time and runs into my hand when I change her/his food or water. Strangely enough, she was submissive for the first few days. Marie is shyer, but still cuddly :)
Both are becoming bolder and bolder and fly up onto my shoulders when I open their brooder.

Thanks! :D That's a relief (the pullet part)!
I'll post more pictures of them, because in these you can't really see their combs that well, but I'm happy they're probably not cockerels.

they are to young to tell gender on they need to be at least 6+ weeks of age with 10 weeks being more ideal

Yeah, I know they're young, but I'm so impatient! :D I just keep thinking 'what if....?'
Anyway, here are some more photos of Becca, just took them (none of Marie, she wouldn't sit still)
