Chicks purchased at Meyer Hatchery in the bargain bin (extra hatched chicks). Purchased for a broody hen to raise, and she has been a great mother hen. Here we are at 4 weeks old and a few of the chicks stump us...so if you have some breed/ gender wisdom, please share.

The first thread on these chicks is in the link if you want to see them when we got them.

Here are the curiosities:
1. Is this an SSH? Pic on Left is our 4 week old chick. Other is from Meyer website since the random chick was purchased at Meyer.

2. Really no clue. And the comb and wattles give me pause. They indicated that the bargain chicks were sexed females (yes, could be female or one of the 10% error sexed).

3. There are 5 toes, and feathered legs/feet. The thought on BYC in the earlier thread was that this was a Salmon Favorelle...but the feathers look too dark. Thoughts?
