Hi I got 40 layers 2 weeks ago now I am getting about 33 to 37 eggs a day it great , but i am sure some thing will jump up and grab my attention LOL,

Hello to all and thanks for the welcome. I live in Manitoba Canada, and wanted chickens on my farm for a long time Now there here LOL, Like so many chicken farmers I was getting ready for hens at the end of April but the guy phone me up and said " no i will be coming there in the middle of April" LOL panic lol it was fun but they all seem to like it here. Now for the fun stuff learning how to look after the hens LOL , But lots of good stuff here and well on my way thanks for the rant

you might want to check out The Old Folks thread. there might be a fellow Canadian you might recognize on there, CanuckBock. She does some amazing postings!
