Our meaties drank so much that I called them "water balloons" and joked that you could hear them slosh when they waddled back to the feeder. I put the water and food as far apart as possible so they'd at least get a little exercise.

Sorry to hear this. Somehow I suspect something in the feed. You mention the greens are same type, as what they were in previous. Can you send a carcass for necropsy. Maybe to the State Dept, of Agriculture. ? I am not sure which agency handles things of this type in chickens
