42- Weird Things You Would Never Know!!

As far as the arm wingspan = height thing, my father is a paraplegic, and has been since age 6. He also has scoliosis so his torso is compact and so his true streched-out-on-a bed length is 5 feet even. HOWEVER, his wingspan is 6'5" !!! All his brothers are crazy-tall, the shortest like 6'4, and my 90 year old grandfather is still 6'1" !! The funny thing is that he almost looks like a monkey because his hands can almost touch the floor when he is in his wheelchair!

He is the coolest person! And would have been VERY tall!

Unfortunately, by mom's short genes reduced my height to 5'5"... bummer.

I have this image of crazy chicken people trying to lick their elbows!

LMAO - my 4 year old just happened through. She can lick her elbows...I refuse to try.

It's great having kids around. All you have to say is "Hey, kiddo, can you lick your elbows?" And voila! Instant answer with no questions. I thanked her while laughing hysterically and she shrugged and walked away.

Oh dear. Thanks for the laugh.

I asked my 3 year old, she didn't quiet make it - but she didn't do it without asking WHY!

TOO FUNNY! The minute I read the list I yelled "hey Jake try to lick your elbow" (he's nine)
he tried it without asking, then he couldn't so he said, WHY?

I had to try the when do they ask why experiment too. My eight year old DD can't lick her elbow, but she did try before asking why. She also asked why afterwards though. I wonder what the age cut off is when they just do it and never think that it is such an odd request it requires a "why?" and at what age do they ask "why?" first.
