I have a question, and if this is too 'gabby' for this thread, let me know. I have wondered about this for awhile now.

Why is the shipping always so high? I can't figure out how it can cost $9-$11 to ship 6 or 8 eggs!! I sent my last batch of 8 for around $5.50. They were all intact. I understand there is packing costs, but I bought a roll of bubble wrap that should last through MANY dozens of eggs for $2.

I am buying 18-20 that are coming all the way from Florida to Colorado, for $13.

Is it a huge conspiracy to get more money for eggs, by sneaking in profit in the shipping????

I am not wanting any yelling, I just am curious if i am doing something wrong in my packing? And I would buy more eggs if the shipping wasnt so high...
