I'm offering 9+ green EE eggs, to be added to with whatever green eggs are laid between now and time to ship. I have 4 EE hens (that lay green, some of the brown layers are half EE, but I don't know for sure which) so there will be a few more eggs added.
Also 1 dozen plus extras, assorted large brown mixed-breed eggs.
Here are some of the parents, they were not cooperating by holding still for photos.
Mostly Mamas:
Close-up of one of the EE's, the other three do not have her lovely muff and tufts, but lay nice green eggs anyway.
Closer pics of the Papas:
He's Light Brahma and EE mixed, the EE hen shown above is probably his mother.
My other roo, Dark Cornish and unknown mix, he's pretty solid, and heavier than he looks. He has beautiful red eyes!
These are my only roos right now, they've been the only roos for about 2 months. So you have a 50/50 chance of EE's from the brown eggs, and the green eggs are all at least half EE, more if the EE roo is Papa.
Please start bidding at $9 on the green eggs, and $6 on the brown. Shipping will be actual postage for Priority mail, plus $2 to cover both paypal and gas to the P.O. Expect shipping to be between $9 and $11, plus the $2.
*My policy for shipping hatching eggs: I remove any that are odd shaped, have thickened areas of shell, are overly porous, too big, too small, too narrow, or have any easily visible defect, such as wrinkles, etc. I candle to see cracks and shell defects, and or other abnormalities that may make an egg less suitable for either shipping or hatching.
Eggs are wrapped individually in bubble wrap, nested big-end-up in the center of the box, secured and padded with more bubble wrap, and held in place with either shredded paper or wadded paper, or small bags of packing peanuts when I have them.
I'm in KY. Remember that the shorter the shipping distance, the better chance your eggs will arrive intact. If you are near my area, you may save the shipping costs, if you want to pick them up.
