I tried to find a link on here about this but was unsuccessful. If you have a link to this topic, please post it.
My kids are showing our cochins and possibly a silkie pair in our local 4H show which is the third week of July. It's already been in the steady 90's here for the past two weeks and I am afraid of what it will be like then. Any suggestions on how to keep the chicks comfortable during that week? I know we can use the fans and I was thinking about doing the frozen water bottle thing for them as well. I just don't want to lose any chicks for an 'experience' in showing.
Please let me know what worked for you/your kids......
