4h Leader new to chickens

Hello, I am a 4h poultry leader in central California. I'm looking for breeders of show quality birds for county fair shows. My husband is building my coop this fall for spring 2015 chicks. I'm allowed 7 hens at my home. Any suggestions?

The best I can suggest is that you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum - you can locate the California threads (there are several by region) and post on those which are close to you.. If you know what breeds you want that would narrow the search. Lots of breeders in the CA area. Hopefully someone will have what you want. Good luck.
