I volunteered to chaperone a 4h fur and feathers display. I didn't realize that I was offering to bring some chickens. they are probably 12 or 13 weeks. I am nervous. If I bring a pair (I don't want to bring a lonely one) - will I have to quarantine them? And will the others readily accept them back when we come home. It's only a half day thing. We are brand new to 4h and I am a little miffed that it wasn't made clear to me that I was volunteering to bring an animal. I guess I can bring a pair of bunnies that don't live with a herd - but they are pastuerella positive and their grooming (angoras) is horrible, but they are friendly, or our guinea pig. I just am very nervous about the little chooks...
