4th of July Hatch-a-long

How are everyone's eggs doing? I still have 8 Ameraucana and 20 coturnix doing well. 8 more days to go!

Honestly I don't know how mine are doing. I have been away for a week and still have 3 days until I am home again. Just in time for lockdown

Late joiner here..... I set a bunch of eggs to hatch on July 1 (Canada Day) since my Canadian mum-in-law is visiting. But then I got a hold of 6 pure Wheaten Ameraucana eggs that I set on June 14th. That makes their due date July 5th so I'm hoping that is close enough to qualify! Only 3 of the 6 were fertile, but so far the 3 left seem in good shape.

This is only my 2nd hatch and the first time I've had two different "due dates". I've been hand turning the 3 Am. eggs since I put the others on lockdown (yes, I know that means I've been opening up the bator). But now 4 of my other eggs have pipped quite early (hellooooo, it's only day 19 for you guys) and now I really must keep the bator closed and the humidity up. Hopefully the Ams won't mind not being turned these last few days........

Mine have 5 more days til hatch day! Keeping my fingers crossed for 8 babies. This will be my best hatch for shipped eggs if they all make it.

All three of mine are developed, but it's the hatch itself that's the most nail-biting! Oh, I hope all 8 of your babies hatch!

Two of my three have hatched at day 17 and 18. The third one isn't viable. So I am done days early. Hope all your hatches go well. I will see if I can locate the pics and post them later.

Congrats on your two chicks! The ones I set to hatch today all hatched yesterday. I'm hoping that means that the ones that are due on July 5th will actually hatch on July 4th. We'll see!

My eggs have always hatched early but never this early. I wonder if the weather during shipping could be the cause of the early hatch as well as my temps being half a degree too high
