Well I just started feeding them bugs and fish. I've fed them dried mealworms and shrimp and minnows. I've tried to feed them eggs and peas which apparently has niacin in it too but they don't seem to like it. Also it still seems like their bellies don’t fully dry. I’m not sure what to do about thatI wonder if what your feeding them maybe causing the smell. What bugs are you feeding and fish?
Well I was feeding them that since my other one had neurological problems but then I bought brewers yeast after she started to improve. So they’ve been taking supplements which why i think this problem is super weirdWhy not just buy the Durvet liquid B Complex. It really does help and you won’t have to feed them so many other things trying to make sure they are getting the niacin they need.
Maybe the smell will go away once they fully change feathers since itll be more water proof and dry better?Well I was feeding them that since my other one had neurological problems but then I bought brewers yeast after she started to improve. Well i change their bedding every day and I move their covered area to a new dry spot everydayYour ducks are dirty, but washing them isn't the solution. The need to spend less time sitting in soiled bedding if you want them to be clean. Don't expect to see improvement overnight either.
