4x8 playhouse type coop, 3 hens okay?

Oh okay, that kind of coop, gotcha. You've got 32 sq ft of run, *plus* your (approx) 8 sq ft of indoor space. It's a bit tight on indoor space if you were in a cold-winter climate but I *think* I'm seeing tropical-type vegetation there? If so, no problemo, that should be very good for three hens!

It's really cute! Did you build that yourself? I think they'll be fine! I have 6 girls (5 standard and 1 banty) in an insulated doghouse and they're great! (We are upgrading as soon as I can get some people to help move the new coop) but so far they're fine in this:

I can't take credit as I didn't build it. I wish I were so handy! It was advertised on craigs list. It's being built on site this Saturday. Looks like 3 hens is my magic number. I can't wait!
