4yr old hen crowing (neighborhood)

Our little 4yr old bantam hen crowed twice within 2 hours of each crow. Not too far away is a farm that's just on the edge of city limits and they do have a rooster that crows early in the morning each day. This hen is currently laying and it's NOT the egg song. All hens range 1-4 years of age. Currently we have 6 layers and 1 broody hen.
I'm a little worried about getting called on.

Not sure why our hen is doing this but I figured I'd put as much info as I could.

My sebright hen done it too its most likely because you don't have any roosters and she is trying to take the role as a rooster

My daughter's MIL had a crowing hen -- her best layer and the dominant hen in the all-girl flock.

Her local ordinances said "No roosters" but not "No crowing" so she was fine.
