Ok, that's completely fine, I just don't really like when people post old pics of their chicks to see if people could guess what they turned out to be.I meant I know they are guesses. So not like I will be upset if it is wrong![]()
Nope. This is our current chick that was only available as straight run. We really wanted a lavender orpington so jumped at the chance! ThanksOk, that's completely fine, I just don't really like when people post old pics of their chicks to see if people could guess what they turned out to be.
Is it mainly the comb? I have a different chick that is a few weeks older with a pronounced comb too. But still.sorta orangey pink. The lavendar has the same stance and same size feet as a female buff orpington. The only difference is the comb. Thank you for your response.I'm leaning towards cockerel
It is. I'm not 100%positive but it does seem like a big comb for such a young age. It bigger than my 7 week old pullets comb. This is one of my 7 week olds and she has the biggest comb of the bunch. Is it mainly the comb? I have a different chick that is a few weeks older with a pronounced comb too.
