i recently got 5 straight run chicks. and i got a variety of colors just for the sake of it:)
ive raised chicks before. just that. the last time i did. they all turned out to be roos... all 6 of themmm... but this time i got my chicks from another place:) and hopefully ill get at least two hens out of the 5 chicks.
i know the whole waiting game for sexing these guys
but atm. i would just like to know their breeds:). cause these guys were nothing like the australorps and RIR's i had in my previous chick raising experiance:)

chick #1~ has yellows legs and no feathered feet. i hope its nothing flighty like a leghorn:( i had bad experiances with flighty leghorns in highschoolll

I'm guessing all but #1 are EE's or Ameraucana's....

But I know that the first one is not a Leghorn.

Wait hold on...Actually I change my mind!

I just remembered that EE's and Ameraucana's have fluffy cheeks, right? Well none of these chicks do, so I don't think they are EE's or Ameraucana's actually.

#1 I don't know...not a Leghorn...#2 and #3 look like RIR pullets to me. #4 looks like a Golden Laced Wyandotte (GLW). #5 I don't know.

EEs don't always have fluffy cheeks, only one out of my six had them. so, they probably are EEs.

I noticed that too.

I bet it is a mix breed, either that or that breed it is just has different patterns for different chicks. Just like the head markings; they aren't in the exact same place as the others on another chick might be.
