Trust me, what everyone else says is not always right. Sometimes I can't believe what people guess lol

ok iv been keeping a close eye on the chicks... and if pullet chicks are more quiet/tame/friendly then the two light sussex and the hyline are pullets as they have no problem being picked up etc as for the barred rock and Araucana they are sooo feisty! if you pick them up the flap there wings and wont sit still.....
But if these traits have nothing to do with sexing then in about 1wk ill take more pictures

I think the BR is a pullet. It seems to have darker coloring rather than lighter. Black wash down front of legs, and my 3 BR pullets have bigger combs than the other breeds.

All birds have different personalities. I have all pullets of several different breeds. Within an individual breed there are some friendlier than others. Out of my 4 Black Sex-Links I have one that is a butt. Same with my 3 BR's two of the pullets are pains. One is super sweet. I would take more photos in a week or so

The barred rock looks EXACTLY like one of my 3 that folks here have told me boy. My 2 barred rock girls are mostly black with white coming in on their feathers, but the other one (boy?) has that same 'barring' of feathers. I am totally new to this though, and I am really NO help!

The comb on my possible boy is slightly bigger than the other 2 and 'he' has much less black coloring down the feet compared to the girls.

here is my supposed barred rock rooster...

And I have 2 of these gals...also barred rocks, same age, they look identical Edited to add that the girls are getting more and more white daily, but there is definitely a BIG difference between these gals and the first picture of mine!
