I agree that it sounds like a dog killing but not eating their kill. Usually they break the neck of the animal they are attacking and leave very little markings.

Do you have weasels in your area? Weasels will suck the blood from them and they die. You might see a bloody spot on ther neck but they won't be tore up like other animals.

sounds like a rat. i have also seen and heard of possume (not sure how to spell) getting in. i live in ohio and ive shot 3 possum now tht were actually tryn 2 get n the pen. i always thought they were plant eaters but whatever im not sure but they don't leave a huge mess usually, just kill em and let em lay.

What ever the preditor, it's climbing the fence and entering the coop through the doggy door and will continue to do so.

I would lock up the doggy door from now on to prevent losing any more.

My Friend I am very sorry for your loss. The kill description given so far suggest a canine. Canine includes a dog or fox. As there was no blood, and no one was missing or eaten on the spot it very much sounds like a dog. Recently a fox visited me and killed a number of chickens, but did haul one away. My guess is he killed with plans to come back. The fact that you have three injured and none hauled off/ missing suggests a small dog. A big dog simply would not have left one injured. A Fox would not leave on injured unless he thought it dead. Again I am sorry for you loss. It is important that you know that who ever killed will be back, either for the fun of killing again or to claim the kills left. Shore up your fences and keep your eyes open. Get the shot gun ready if you can.
