Hello! It’s my first time incubating, I lost my favorite roo and my broody girls to my neighbors dog 2 weeks ago. This little guy hatched 5 hours ago and I don’t know if it’s me being super paranoid but he’s still having a hard time walking. He was falling over backwards for the first 30 minutes but has since stopped. He can’t really walk forward, best way to describe it is that it’s like he is drunk and fumbling around, walking backwards. I really want this baby to be ok because he is all I have left of my sweet roo. Also when is a good time to take him out? Because I was desperate to save as many eggs as I could, they are all in different stages of development

He can stay in there 24 to 48 hours without a problem. Wait at least until he is fully fluffed up and make sure no one else is pipped when you take him out. They can take a good bit of time to get their land legs under them.
