O.k, so I went to my regular chicken man, to buy some pullets, I lost 3 to my dogs , one was my nine year old sons, so he goes to pick him out a new baby. He automatically picks out this Rhode Island White pullet, chicken man won't sell him her to him, but gives her to him. This little girl is 5 months old and the size of my 8 week old chicks, my 8 week olds are bigger than her!!!!!! She's obviously been beat up and teased by her "sisters". My question is, will she live a long normal life? We've got her in a small pen in the house, food and water, went ahead and gave her medicated starter, we bathed her, and now she is sitting next to me on a heating pad and a lamp over her.
Here she is ,shes very sweet, small thing, the 4 other I bought are way bigger, chicken man said she would die, and I would like to know what the chances are? We're already attached but ready for the best and/or worse?
Anyone had a wee ittle runt live long and happy?
