5 months, 3 weeks, and 1 day... to EGGS! (now with pics)

5 eggs yesterday!!! WAHOO! the most i'd gotten in a day so far was 2, so things are really starting to pick up.

this morning there was a pretty small, almost pinkish egg that i THINK came from Gretel, my little silkie girl. it was adorable!

it was from one my severely over-romanced EEs, so if it wasn't fertilized i was seriously going to doubt the fertility of my roos.

got my first silkie egg today. it was ADORABLE! and pink! (i wasn't expecting that)

3 of my eggs with a large store-bought

my first "almost" dozen. i ate the first 2, one was broken in the nest box, and i added the large store-bought for comparison. i've collected 14 since last Wednesday!

ok, i promise to stop posting a million eggs pictures. it's just sooooo exciting!
