Reading everyone's posts about going to the feed store and picking up chicks made me decide to run out to TSC yesterday and see if they had any chicks in yet and they didn't. However, they did have their 'brooders' set up and I was informed that the babies would be arriving on Monday the 28th! So I bought 2 bags of baby feed and now I'll be spending all weekend getting my brooder cleaned up and ready to go for Monday. yay! Just had to share

its exciting waiting for them isnt it. i just ordered 25 white leghorn pullets yesterday from Meyer hatchery. being shipped the week of March 7th. first time ordering from them.

Be sure to get there early.
I went last year to get ducklings and was told that a customer was there when they were delivered and bought the whole box.
