5 Toed Chick - No idea on the breed? Maybe a Silver laced Wyandotte cross? PLEASE HELP!

He is gorgeous but i have only heard of silkies with 5 toes?
He has the 3 as you can see in the picture and then two to the side which cant see yet as they have just hatched.
Please help!

There are other breeds with 5 toes, for example, Faverolles, Dorkings, Houdans. Where did you get the eggs?

I'll give you the list - i bought them online through the post and it was advertised like this :

Not pure Faverolles for sure...mine have been all yellow as chicks.

Does the chick have a rose comb? It's hard to tell from the picture. Also, does it lok to be a LF or bantam chick?

If it has a rose comb then one parent is a wyandotte, and I would guess silkie x wyandotte. If the seller has a Marans that lays green eggs I suspect there are more than a few mixes in those pens.

All the 5 toed breeds they own (silkies & Faverolles) should have feathered legs/feet.

This could be a cross, but even my crosses between feathered legs and clean legs come out with some feathers on the legs..

x2 the parents one could have already been a cross (fav x wyan) and the other a wyndotte which could give you clean legged babies with 5 toes. i highly doubt it has any silkie in it as even then if it is cross like above it would still have more than just one silklie trait (such as black skin and 5 toes)

i would have asked if they ran together or were separated for it doesn't say in the add and with the way it is worded i would say they ran together...by the way marans is always spelled with an S at the end

also this right here (I HAVE ONE MARAN HEN THAT LAYS GREEN EGGS) tells you that they are mixed as marans lay nothing but shades of brown and the darker the better.
