5 toed chicks - does this mean anything to anyone???

two of my chicks have 5 toes on each foot. Does this mean they are special in some way - Golden eggs perhaps???

Some breeds have 5 toes. Silkies, for example. I don't know the others.

It is inherited. Silkies have 5 toes and so do Sultans. I am sure there are others too. Show us a pic??? PLZ??

My salmon Fav's are 5 toed; no golden eggs from them, only peach and green.

Faverolles have 5 toes as well. It is a genetic (polydatctly).

I'm thinking it's a throw back where perhaps that fifth toe had razor like projections to cut and grasp prey... LOL
