Do you have to use egg turners or could they be replaced with a piece of plywood? I rather turn by hand.....

plywood would restrict the air flow. The incubator comes with a cd that shows a very simple tray made out of wire that you probably have laying around the house. Takes about 10 min to make a tray. Thanks for your inquiry. Randy
