Looks like a pullet to me. All of my Jersey Giants get some pretty well sized combs and waddles by this age.

Which is sad, because I do love their B/B/S colors, their amazing size, and their beautiful pink eggs. . .
 
Thanks, everyone. Illia, I didn't know JGs tended to be standoffish. Maybe my Beulah is friendly because she was an "only chicken" for two weeks before we got more pullets her age. She stays in the brooder in the kitchen, and used to sleep under my shirt as I worked at the computer. She's much too active for that now, but she likes it when I rub her belly and under her wings - in her chicken brain, she believes she is having a dust bath.
