Bought from a local farm. I'm worried half are roosters and it will break my daughters heart if we have to get rid of some.

Maybe pic 3? He/she seems to have more rusty colored feathers and a slightly pinker comb. Not sure though. It's a bit early to tell; one way to sex EE's is by feather color but seeing as most of yours are different I don't think that'll work :)

Here are more pictures of that one, he is most roo-ish to me also.

Hard to be sure at 5 weeks old. Better pics in better lighting will help. Side view of body while standing and a good pic of comb and wattle development and color. Hope they are all girls!

Alright, updated images ahoy!

So, these are around 7-8 weeks old?

While I see some redder combs, there isn’t any real wattle development. Also, I can’t see much difference in the tails (like any slightly longer tail feathers), and from the legs that I can see, none look larger than any others (as thicker legs can sometimes indicate makes). Overall, I’m seeing likely all females.

To be sure, you should wait a full 12-14 weeks when saddle feathers will begin to possibly be apparent, wattle development will be more obvious -and different if male.

You are giving me hope! No wattles yet and despite the red combs, the reddest of them barely has a tail. I'll keep my fingers crossed

Did any of your chicks grow feathers slower than the other ones? I’ve heard that Easter Egger cockerels feather out slower than pullets. I have two EEs (I believe one is a pullet and one a cockerel) and my cockerel definitely took longer to grow feathers.
