5 week old Bantam!!!! HELP!!! WHAT AM I???!!!!!!

she is a beautiful little black chicken. just be happy she is a hen and not rooster like my poor little rusty. I think OEGB is the breed. i think its a lot like a easter egger. a barn yard mix but in mini size. at least this is the answer i got.

Old English Game Bantams (OEGB) are a breed, not a barnyard mix. They are an old breed that is a true bantam, there is no large fowl (LF) counterpart.

So if i breed a Black Breasted Red OEGB and a Spangle OEGB the out come would be OEGB. I know it would still be a true OEGB but wouldn't it still be a barnyard mix? I am so confused.

No, it would be a full OEGB just a mix of color. Sort of like breeding a yellow lab with a chocolate lab...pups are still pure lab...just pups will be all colors.

She looks Ameruacana or Easter egger.... Not sure what the diff is, I think Easter eggers come in more colors and are smaller. She looks just like my Ameraucana though. I will post some pics of her. What Color lobes does she have?

Yes!! here she is! about 7 weeks old. My guy is convinced that she is an OEG. I think so too, but still have an option or two in the back of my mind. She is so pretty! And sooooo funny!! and omg SO loving!! I am completely sick in ove with this little one!!!
