Thank you and I will. Momma hen is being beautiful and sweet. She's been broody for far too long. I couldn't break her so I finally got her some fertilized eggs, then she kept leaving those to sit on unfertilized eggsWell done! I am happy for you to see that with all your good care everything seems to turn out alright!
Fingers crossed for your broody and let us see the little family when her chicks will be all fluffed up and bustling about.

She's a popular hen at school. She's named after the school so sort of the unofficial school mascot. Lol.
With the quarantine and the big mess we're in, the chickens are the most popular attraction in the neighborhood. They have their own fb page and have their photos with names posted at school now. So many neighbors tell me how thankful they are that we have the chickens to share with the neighborhood.

Thank you! I'll post a pic where you can see a little one peeking out to say hi! This poor hen has been broody for far too long (she had issues sitting on the correct eggs) so I'm very thankful that she gets to have her babies and can start taking care of herself again. She's very popular in the neighborhood, lol. With quarantine, the chickens have become the main attraction in our area. They now have their own facebook page and I put their photos w/names up at school and daily I get thanked for "having" the chickens. Things are getting pretty bad here as far as Covid goes so I know people are really appreciative to have something cute, fun, non-covid related to experience. Plus, we're right in the city so it's a novelty for many of them. Lol.
