5-week old chick literally picking on the others! Help!

I have 5 chicks, all 5 weeks old. They're getting ready to go out to the coop this week, but still inside for another few days. One is very aggressive with 3 of the others and has picked bald spots onto their backs. They each have small scabs that appear to be healing well and I have removed the offender and placed into a crate. How long do I keep them separated and what is the best way to get them back together? Is this a temporary problem or should I expect it to persist? This is my first time raising chicks, so any and all information would be extremely helpful!!
