5 week old chick with problem

We have seven 5 week old chicks that were initroduced to the flock and seem to be doing fine. The challenge is that they also eat the layer feed we free-feed the hens. One of the chicks has a raw behind and we're wondering what steps to take. The other chicks are fine. We'd appreciate any wisdom you have to offer!
