5 week old crowing?!

I have 1, 6 week old showgirl and 2, 5 week old white silkie chicks and the one white silkie is crowing....sorta. More like squeaking, it's funny, do they get louder? I can handle this type of crowing, don't know if it gets louder what the neighbors will think. For now it's too funny, so I know at least one is a roo, wonder about the other 2? Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Hi! I'm sure they do get louder. I just heard one of my 6 week-olds crowing this morning, too. I was assuming it was one of the Cochins, but now that I see your post, I wonder if it wasn't a silkie. I heard a loud noise coming from the chicks' cage, and after a minute or two, I realized it was a chick trying to crow! Amazing at such a young age--I've previously only heard roosters crowing when they were mature "adults."
