Introducing a new 7-8 week old

Treat trails worked like a charm for me. Save a good pile for in the coop.
OK!! that my thought just this evening. I have meal worms for my older girls and I didn't know if they were too young for them, but see that they are not. - I had just looked that up ... so tomorrow night, I'm going to try that. I just came back inside from once again manually gathering them and putting them inside. Sigh. Many thanks! I also was wondering if seeing he heat lamp inside the coop was messing with their internal signal to seek a higher spot when it began getting dark. Any thoughts about that?

I've used a battery powered light in the coop, but it was just to guide them in. It when off after 30 mins or so. Depending on how bright it is it shouldn't bother them. If you have porch lights etc you could try turning those off so they'll go to the light in the coop.

Ok. .. so the light I have in there (heat lamp). if anything can guide them not ward them away from going inside. OK. I won't worry about it then. Thanks!
