5 week old Pekin Duck very sick

How is your duck doing this morning?

She is the same...can’t eat or drink on her own without my assistance. Still can’t stand and she’s having a hard time holding her head up

Has she been out where she could have eaten something toxic, plant rotten anything Picked up a screw or nail?

No she was kept indoors: the other 3 ducks aren’t sick. Today was day 6 of her being this way. So my husband and I made the choice to humanely euthanize her. It was a very hard decision to make. But she was still in bad shape. We buried her in a little box filled with flowers. I hope she’s at peace now. Thank you so much for all your help. I’ll attach a pic I took of her and I yesterday. I kept her with me all the time since she got sick.

Thank you. This is my first time owing ducks. And I hope we never have to euthanize another one again. Thanks for your help and information it was greatly appreciated.

I’m so sorry. We've all been there and it is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I hope you don’t ever have to do it again either.
