5 week olds, too early to tell? Pictures added.

I have a Buff O and a Barred Rock I am wondering about.
Lets see if this works first.

Is it too soon to tell if I have a Roo or two?

Sorry they are so blurry.

Too close up, too dark, too blurry. Back off a bit from them and take pics in natural daylight. That will help alot. We really have to see the color on the BRs.

I'd say the BO is a roo.

I bought 10 as sexed hens. One turned out to be a roo. You could tell at about 4-5 weeks, comb and waddles were redder compared to the others. Mine are almost 12 weeks old now, and the hens combs still aren't red.

Sorry for the lousy pics, it is pretty gloomy outside today. I will wait and get a few while that are in the run.
I just have the hardest time getting them to stop and say cheese.

I'd say a roo too because I have 12 week old Buff O's pullets and they are not that red in the comb.
