5 week to 6 week olds breed leghorn? sex?

From what little I can find, these guys look like leghorns but the eggs they hatched from were not your typical large white leghorn eggs. The eggs were light brown and medium-sized. Hence why I'm confused about which breed they are, and no clue about sex either. Both of them are about 5 days apart. Tried to get pics the best I could.

Chick 1 - @ 3.5 weeks

Chick 1 - @ 4.5 weeks

Chick 2 - @ 4.5 weeks

Chick 2 - @ 6 weeks

Both together

First time with chickens and have a decent mix of breeds, however, these guys are just totally different characters. Their playstyle is amusing, nose down neck stretched body low to the ground, open up the wings a little, and dart around at speed going under or around the other chicks. Entertaining to watch The younger one is totally chilled when I put my hand near it and will come to me, get on my hand etc. The other one gets somewhat aggressive and even start pecking at my hand before trying to flee.

Combs are pretty red leading me to think cockerels right now. But both sexes in leghorns have pretty large combs. My early guess is boys due to redness.

If they were hatched from brown eggs, they could be White Plymouth Rocks.

I'd say they are cockerel. I don't think they are White Leghorns though and if they hatched from brown eggs then they cannot be Leghorns. They are most likely White Rocks if they are purebreds.

Ok I stand corrected. Having spoken to the source of the chicks and eggs, the one that hatched with me (chick 1) came out of very light brown medium-sized egg. This most likely makes it a white plymouth rock although the guy with the chickens only has barred plymouth rocks. Maybe a hybrid? guess we'll know soon enough.

Was really hoping they we're not going to be cockerels as I've got too many already

sorry I just reread what I wrote above and realised I didn't complete the sentence...which is that chick 2 is confirmed as a leghorn having hatched from a leghorn egg.

Still wish it was a pullet.
