5 weeks old, Ready for the big house ?

Thanks All for the encouragement. The 5 week olds are now in the big house. after a few modifications to the coop (below) I felt better about leaving them out there all alone.

First they were getting thru the larger holes in the chain link door and it was very windy today but temp was still good at about 75-80 so I put some plastic sheeting along the door and south side to block some of the wind for them.

Thanks so much Fred
I have been so worried they are gonna kill each other in the boxes, right now I have 3 brooders going for my 22 chicks, 1 is a large watermelon box with 2 roost poles acroos, it has 12 chicks in it, my original brooder is a 49 x 51x 24 high plywood box we made, and my hurt hen is in a rubbermaid tub with a friend, and they are getting huge already I can't believe how much they grew...........never thought they grew so fast. at a month old they are Id say half grown. especially my mystery white chicks they are the largest of all of them....wish I knew what they were.... heres a picture incase anyone might know, this was a week ago.

Did you get the mystery chicks from TSC they could be Tetra Tints. Not much info on them except they came from Mt Healthy Hatchery for TSC stores. Suppose to be commercial layer. Lays cream colored eggs. They grow fast I have six about 5 to 6 weeks old. I put mine in the coop a week ago. Much happier out there. we had a couple of really cold days here in PA lows in the 30's highs in the 40's put a heat lamp in the coop but everyone stayed away from it so I figured that they know whats best.
