5 weeks - roosters?

Yeah this was the first time I ever got chicks from tractor supply, big mistake, should have stuck with my tried and true. Learned the breed after the first week, didn’t know that this breed only is available as straight run. Thanks for your feedback on the sex.

Sure! Straight run is basically a grab bag in terms of sex - each bird is (should be) just as likely to be male as female.

What I might do if they start fighting is separate the males out of sight into their own flock. I’ve heard of that working. I’m lucky enough to have an extra coop and run though, we just started renovating the shed for a bigger coop. Looks like the old coop might get designated as a bachelor pad :p
