Keep in mind we're in one of the two times of year when Nifty has to delete some RR and GJ&F threads, I suppose to undo the server overloads. It's totally normal, and the best way to avoid losing your post count is to post in the chicken threads!

Post count really doesn't mean much in terms of bird knowledge, anyway!

Maybe if I answer once for every - I dunno, dozen?- posts that I sit here and read, I might even see those numbers go up! I think of people here as sort of anonymous friends. But, just like with some of my neglected "real life" (um, non-virtual, off-line?) friends, I guess I should reach out a bit more.
