DH's friend's parents can totally top that one... before DVDs came out there were VDs (record size video discs) ANYWHO... you try not giving someone, esp. an elder a parent of one of your SO's best friends elders who you do NOT want to look like an idiot in front of and most especially don't want to offend because they know your future in laws, an incredulous look when they ask you "Hey wanna see our VD collection?"... not easy. Somebody actually PAYS MONEY for apps? I only install FREE applications. Therefore, because buying "apps" is foreign to me, I thought "applications" and then "job applications" and then I thought, but that's WRONG!
