Flock Raiser comes in crumbles here, that's all my TSC offers. I didn't even see Flock Raiser at the other feed store, though they do carry Layena for about $1 more than TSC.

Really, I thought it was only in those tiny pellets.

Those young buggers tend to just suck it down. I didn't realize how much a BobWhite could eat!! I was filling one of those quart size chick feeder 5 times a day for 25 palm sized chicks. Now a pair of adults eats a quart in a week!

My flock consists of 12 healthy (15-weeks old) chooks and are on 50 pounds DP's (double purpose feed)-crack corn and growers. So far they have consumed 3/4 in the period of three weeks. I believe this will last for another week. They free-range at least 6 hours a day this helps in cutting down the feed expense.
