This is what the dark downed chicks look like now. Definitely 100% cornish
 
I am getting back into chickens after a long break. I'm retiring at the end of this year after working 23 years in Animal Control. Can you update what your birds look like now? I'm interested to see how the combs turned out.

I’ll get back to you on that. We’ve been dealing with wicked cold that we haven’t seen the likes of in a long time so it will be hard to get good photos.

I hope you are feeling better. My husband has been sick coughing since September of last year! His cold developed into something like c.o.p.d. a disease his mother had from smoking. He cannot get ahead of it. I hope you are better. I ordered Dark Cornish chicks from Murray McMurray. I'm not sure I'm going to be happy with them. Please keep me in mind for some hatching eggs.
