5day old chick.. a loner so far

I have 2 questions its middle toe is curved. Do they grow into their feet.. I did put a piece of wood in the area. Plus chirping lots. It seems happy, pooping nicely, eats dry crumble and I also wet crumble, I also put less than a drop of Nutridrench in water. I put a mirror in there to keep it company … should I be concerned?.. he had a mate but it got stuck in between a towel and heater. Now there is no gap. Attached is picture of toe and set up..
There are 4 more eggs from that batch going on 27days.. toss or wait..I have 7 more that are on 22days.. would me candling them kill them?

Nope go ahead they will grow to their feet. I have 2 new hatches get turned
over but yes take a bit to get on their feet.
