I have recently bought 3 pullets - a barred rock, Rhode Island Red and Australorp - which I just love. They have a long run and love pecking around all day. Then come around 4.30/5pm - same time every day for last couple of weeks- they hop over the fence so that they can explore the rest of the garden. It’s not a huge deal as the garden is secure but we share the yard with neighbours who have (friendly) dogs so i’d rather be safe than sorry. The strange thing is that it’s the same time every day. Is this normal?
