There are certain breeds we want. I need to look locally for hatching eggs for bantam cochins and polish. I have one surviving cochin and one surviving polish. I have tried four seperate shipments of polish eggs and have one chick. I KNOW it is not the bator, since all mine hatch out fine. It is the very post office playing soccer with my packages.
I meant use my hen as the incubator, not my eggs.
Most our eggs are mutts...who wants those?
But, if it is the shipping eggs issue, then it is a moot point. Wasn't there someone down the hill that has polish? I thought I saw someone post it on one of the CA threads. Maybe you can arrange hand delivery at the chickenstock.
