This morning when I went to feed and water our bitties, I found a 5wk old chick laying on her side, squawking, her legs straight out, wings out, and her neck arched back and floppy. Is this a sign of some disease? I thought somehow she might have broken her neck, but DH says he thinks her neck and back are fine...that maybe it's something internal. I am currently giving her water with kids vitamins mixed in. Is there something else I can do to make her better. We bought these chicks locally and are feeding them medicated chick starter. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Please help my poor baby chick.
