5wk old RI Red tail feathers

noticed yesterday that some of my RIR chicks are now sprouting dark green feathers on their tail.
is this a sign of a hen or rooster?

Are they from a hatchery or breeder?

RI Reds ( Hens and Roosters ) should have Black Tails..

If you got them from a Hatchery I would say that they are roosters...

i got them from a high quality breeder (pine grove).
inside the brooder i could barely notice the green feathers under the red lamp.
but i took a couple outside and thats when i noticed the dark green almost black feathers under the sunlight.

i know 5 weeks is still a lil early to tell for sure but i figured i'd give it a shot.
