Hi, so sorry you are going through this, especially when you are only 2 feet shy,
of being able to keep them. We can all see how much you love them, their pics
show that, to us all. There are so many threads, on here where neighbors have
broken families heart. Why don"t they take 5 mins, and think of the stress they are causing, to animal owners, and the animals. It is so annoying and it gets me, everytime,
I come across the threads like yours here. I know others on here will agree. I can
see you already been offered a good home, for them, and you will probably have a
load more. Which is brilliant, however these pathetic uncaring nosy neighbors, who
has nothing better to do, with their time or lives, should take a look into their own lives.
Because to treat a good caring person, like you, and be able to destroy your love
and happiness, is beyond me. Especially when you are 2 feet away, from keeping them.
Although i live in UK, we owned our own farm. Very remote on top of mountain, we
lived there most of our lives. My husband fell ill, which we had no option but to retire early. Moved here 16yrs ago missed my chickens, so as i still had my incubator, bred
my own. Landed up with 3 beautiful cockrels and 16 hens. We live in a village where
there are a lot of elderly people. Who loved our Cockrels, not one complaint, then our
neighbors next door moved, then new moved in. Within 6 weeks got a letter that
we had to get rid of them. No roosters allowed. Yet we had them 5yrs with no complaints.
We broke our hearts, and like you we could do nothing. We were lucky to find a new
home for the 3 to stay together. This family had just bought a small farm, they kept
in touch, sent pics of my boys. (Which really helped.) These neighbors are still here
and they make more noise, than ever my boys did. As in the summer they have loads
around, for barbies ect. Music swearing going on until gone 3am. But have we complained
NO as none of our business.( IT IS THEIR LIFE.) Plus not our style, to act so petty.
Sorry i have written so much, all i can say, is i am sure you will find good homes, for
them. And they can all stay together. As for you i wish you all the very best, stay strong.

Good luck.
