I begain feeding my (8 Rhode Island reds, 8 Production reds, 6 Barred Rocks & 4 Orpington Buffs) laying pellets at week 20.... I am now going into week 24 and still no eggs. I went and dusted for mites & lice 2 days ago... and added worming med to water... Was looking for some advice as to what else to try......

They meant your thread title. It says 6 and 8 week old chickens. I assume you meant 6 and 8 month olds

My girls never did like the laying pellets. I use the Purina Layena and offer oyster shell. I also feed scraps. Some chickens dont start laying until week 26 old. Just give them some more time.

Do you have your nest boxes open and ready? Mine started getting in and out of the nest boxes and laid within a week of noticing the nest.

Waiting. You're still in normal range.

Also, make sure they are getting 15 hrs of daylight. You should probably be supplementing with artificial light by now. Most of the country is getting less than that now and the days are getting shorter and shorter.
