I've never given a chicken a bath. I have been reading around and seeing that several give Silkies baths. What age did you start? I know they take a long time to dry, blow dry/towel dry/ air dry?? My Silkies and White Sultans feet feathers are gross. Should I bathe the whole bird or just the feet.nwhat soap do you use?

Feel free not pick and choose a question 🤦🤷 I'm lost here

When you plan to take care of silkie chickens, keep them in a coop with wire mesh that has holes no larger than 0.5 inches so that predators can't get in. So move the bedding to the bottom of the coop to keep the birds warm and make cleaning easier.

My coop is all inclosed so sealed off to predators. A roosting house they get into at nightbhas extra bedding but they whole space has a ground cover except for a few square feet of grass area for natural grazing.
